Born Joseph William “Will” Conybeare in Morristown, New Jersey on Aug. 15, 2001, WILCON spent the majority of his adolescence in Tuckahoe, New York — under four miles north of New York City. When he was 16, his family relocated to St. Joseph, Michigan, where he graduated from high school in 2019.

After attending Iona College (now Iona University) as a freshman, WILCON moved to Southern California to attend California Lutheran University; he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Music Production in the class of 2023. In addition, he spent five months at the University of Aberdeen in Aberdeen, Scotland during his collegiate career.

Upon graduation, WILCON took a position as a Digital Producer at KTLA 5 News while also serving as the Head Editor for Green Tea Magazine and contributing as an author to 24HipHop and Rolling Hype.

WILCON is an avid soccer, basketball and football fan; he supports Crystal Palace F.C. in the Premier League, the New York Knicks and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

In addition, he is also a traveler; by the age of 22, he had visited 38 U.S. states and 18 different countries.

He enjoys consuming cannabis and having a positive impact on the lives of those around him, as well as creating unique sonic art and telling stories.
